Best bodysurfing beaches in Central to Northern California?

I very much enjoy bodysurfing (not boogeyboarding), but don’t know of many good beaches from Central to Northern California. The best one I’ve found is at Aptos, where the size and types of waves are about right. I know of several in Southern California, but it’s too far a drive for me.

    I like bodysurfing on west cliff, in santa cruz. Although due to recent seal overpopulation a lot of dead seals pop up on the beach daily…

    I also know of a secret reef near aptos, but you should just wait until winter to look for real waves.

    38th and 24th in Santa Cruz and Streamer Lane if you got fins and it’s not too crowded.
