Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa is situated on the finest wide, white, sandy beach on the island of Zanzibar. Located on the East Coast in an area known as Kiwengwa, the hotel is only 35 minutes drive from Stone Town and the airport on a good tarmac road to within meters from the hotel.

Since Cancun came on the scene attracting vacationers with its glitz and high octane energy, many traditional and established holiday destinations in Mexico have suffered. Even I was seduced by Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and dont take this as a negative comment, the Caribbean side of Mexico along the Yucatan Peninsula is a favorite destination with a lot to offer.
Still from just a first time visit to Puerto Vallarta region I have to say that in many ways I prefer this side of Mexico vs the Yucatan. There is character and history, spectacular scenery at Banderas Bay surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains, activities galore and it has a more laid back slower pace that is welcome in the hectic world we live in.
We look forward to exploring more of the old favorite vacation destination on the west (Pacific) coast like Acapulco, Mazatlan and others.
Mexico is a beautiful country with great people and great vacation choices at very affordable prices.
