Taco Fish in Rocky Point, Mexico

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

We wanted to share the good news with our compadres! There is a new taco stand in Rocky Point and they serve some of the best fish and shrimp tacos we have had in Rocky Point! It is called Taco Fish, and it’s only been open since June 2010, but with food this good and portions this large, they will do very well guaranteed. We each had something different: Spencer had Camarones (Shrimp Tacos); Lolis has Smoked Marlin tacos; and I had Pescado tacos (Deep fried Flounder) and they were all very, very good.

Taco Fish is located just past the Bomberos Fire Station, between Jim Burr Plaza and the Black Dog. We hope to stop by on your next visit and enjoy some great food at Taco Fish.

Background music is Enrique Iglesias “I Like It”

Beaches and Ruins of Tulum – Great Attractions (Mexico)

Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Take a tour of Beaches and Ruins of Tulum in Mexico — part of the World’s Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.

Whether you’re a beach-goer or a historian at heart, Tulum is your place.

This beautiful piece of Mexican coastline is home to Mayan ruins roughly 800 years old.

The beach here is almost as amazing: pristine white sand and glowing blue water.

The ruins are part of a city that lasted until 70 years after the Spanish Conquest.

Even after its abandonment, some Mayans continued to use the temple until fairly recently.

At less than a hundred miles away from Cancun, Tulum is an easy-to-reach destination.

The sense of ancient, mystery and the gorgeous beaches will make a lasting memory.

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

A paradise on earth, The Pacific Bays, Huatulco (pronounced wha-tool-co) is an area of unspoilt natural beauty, found in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains. Spreading across nine exquisite bays, it blends vivid blues, greens and soft golden shores with colourful flora and sea life. One of Mexico’s newest resorts, it combines seclusion, sheltered bays and modern hotels with year-round sunshine and authentic Mexican charm.

From the beaches and the bars, to sampling the local culture and cuisine, this video should help you decide if Huatulco is the right holiday destination for you.
